Quark Gateway App was designed to support the Platform Workspace collection viewing on iPad for easy access to customers. This was further customized for each client with their brand and guidelines. Some of the important clients that customized the App are: Goldsman Sachs, Franklin Templeton, Arrow, Louis Vuitton etc.,
CHALLENGE. Allow users to transform printed newsletter into a digital edition using Quark Publishing Platform and publish on iPad in order to scale publishing capabilities to include not only print, but Web and digital. This will also extend digital publishing to additional communications and content.
SOLUTION. Let users browse collections on their devices or stored on a specific server (CMS). Preview the files on the go and also allow them to update/sync the files with server to get the latest version. Perform basic check-in/check-out functionality i.e. edit and open files on iPad.
MY ROLE. Competitive Research (various iPad digital apps, Dropbox, Box, Kindle Store etc), Create storyboard, Persona profiles, Create Flows, Organize Navigation, Lo-fidelity and High-fidelity screenshots.
Worked with R&D team members and renowned clients - Goldsman Sachs, Franklin Templeton, Evolved Mechanics (an internal App for the Sales team) for creating customer specific iPad solutions.
