Hello! I’m Sandeep Chhabra, a user experience / interface designer focused on digital product design. I collaborate with passionate people and companies to create products and services that have exceptional user experience. I believe in working directly with the end-user from the beginning, to create solutions that are genuinely desirable, feasible and viable for the business and the users. In practice, this means a lot of experiments, prototypes and stakeholder interviews.
With almost 15 years of experience in the design field, of which the last 7 years has been focused on UX, I’m passionate about solving tough customer problems. I combine thoughtful research and intelligent technology with beautiful designs that make a meaningful difference in the life of individuals.
Prior to moving to Noida, I spent time in Mumbai, Chandigarh and New Delhi working for a variety of companies over a multitude of disciplines. I have contributed to and led design teams at Human Factors International, Quark, NIIT, Delta Information Systems, Pugmarks, Redalkemi, NIS Sparta, Coca Cola and a number of other start-ups and agencies.
While working as a System Analyst for NIIT, DIS, I designed their computer and web based tutorials and the UI for their business tools. My next stint with design was at a noted Website designing agency in Chandigarh, Pugmarks Design Studio, where I worked alongside a number of world-class designers, programmers and SEO directors, designing websites for the e-commerce platform. It was during this time that I developed my love of design thinking and flow creation, which ultimately pushed me into a career in user experience.
While working with Quark Inc., I got the opportunity to travel onshore to their United States office for product and user requirements gathering. Working with the Senior staff members there was a great learning experience that helped me hone my presentation skills. It was at Quark Inc. that I got multiple management appreciation for dedication, prioritization, problem solving and team work.
While working as a Senior Human Factors Specialist for Human Factors International, Mumbai, I worked for various client - Banking, Insurance, and Entertainment, I designed their online desktop and mobile portals.
I enjoy working with tech teams to produce amazing visual solutions to tough customer-centric problems. I like to see projects from concept through to completion, and love getting my hands dirty — whether that’s through talking with customers, crafting beautiful visual design, coding prototypes, or by mentoring others to achieve great results. I can safely say that I enjoy helping design teams put their best foot forward!
